As the days begin to get cooler, the kids return to school, and the last of the summer crops are harvested, let’s welcome autumn in with September-themed art prints! September is the most popular month for birthdays, so help the Virgos (August 23–September 22) and Libras (September 23–October 22) feel special with artwork inspired by the flowers and gemstone associated with their birth month.
Aster
Asters are daisy-like flowers with small, thin petals that bloom from late summer to late autumn and appear in beautiful shades of purple, blue, pink, and even red. Asters symbolize wisdom, faith, and hope, which makes them a lovely way to celebrate another year of growth and look forward to the year ahead.
My Aster artwork captures the delicate beauty of this late-summer flower and makes a thoughtful addition to a bedroom, office, or gallery wall.
Morning Glory
Morning Glory vines have heart-shaped leaves and trumpet-shaped flowers that come in a variety of bright colors. These flowers are unique for their daily cycle of blooming open in the morning sunshine and closing back up by the end of the afternoon.
Morning Glories symbolize honesty, love, and the transience of life. A gift of my Morning Glory artwork can be a beautiful reminder that the sun will always return each morning.
Sapphire
It’s no wonder that sapphires are one of the most popular gemstones, with their durability and beautiful range of colors, though the classic deep blue is stunning on its own.
Sapphires symbolize wisdom, loyalty, and faith, making them a meaningful choice for someone celebrating a September birthday. Sapphire is also traditionally associated with the 5th and 45th wedding anniversaries, making it a fitting way to celebrate a lasting relationship and the loyalty between two people.
